Desert West has been serving the West Valley for over 7 years. Our organization has strived to continue to provide the youth from the greater Phoenix West Valley area an outlet to grow and learn life skills through the game of football. Our organization is supported by a great team of volunteers who dedicate their time to giving back to the community and youth.

Many of the families in the areas we service have been hit hard by the economic downturn, and unfortunately, the children are the ones who suffer the most as funds for extracurricular activities are among the first to be cut from family budgets. As a result, Desert West has spent a large portion of our funds to subsidize families who are struggling to meet the minimum financial commitment to join our league. We want all children to be given the chance to participate.

We participate and emphasize in fundraising to lower the overall costs for players. Fundraising is a team and morale builder which teaches the kids to work hard on and off the field to obtain their goals. However, fundraising doesn’t cover all the cost. Our league provides each player with shoulder pads, helmets, 7-piece pad sets, pants, and practice jerseys, and teams are responsible for purchasing game jerseys. We are looking for assistance from the community to help provide the infrastructure needed to help our kids play the great game of football.
